It is enough just to be alive. Enough to exist as I am, simply blending into the world around me.Family, warmth, music, tears, wind, smiles, happiness, and love. Everything I encountered in Africa became a source of light for me. Just as Africa gave me hope to live, I now want to become a light from Africa, illuminating Japan’s future.The film is currently in production, with its release scheduled for May 2027.

生きているだけでいい。そのままの自分で、世界と溶け合って存在しているだけでいい。家族、熱、音楽、涙、風、笑顔、しあわせ、そして、愛。アフリカで出会ったそのすべてが、私にとっては「光」でした。私が生きる希望をもらったように、次は自分が「アフリカの光」で、日本の未来を照らしたい。2027年5月の公開に向けて鋭意制作中です。

Artist

A graduate of Waseda University’s School of International Liberal Studies, HANA traveled to Africa after working at a publishing house to study Tinga Tinga, a distinctive painting style originating in Tanzania. “Burn your life and light up the world”.ーHANA has created more than 150 works across painting, poetry, film, and dance performance in Tanzania and Japan. In 2026, HANA is embarking on the production of the first documentary film of her career in Tanzania. ”You and I make the World together”. Through her artistic practice, HANA strives to share with as many people as possible the philosophy of life she has learned from Africa.

早稲田大学国際教養学部卒業。出版社勤務を経てアフリカに渡り、タンザニアのペンキアート「ティンガティンガ」を学ぶ。現在までに「命を燃やし、世界を照らせ」というテーマの下、これまでタンザニアと日本で絵画・詩・映像・ダンスパフォーマンスなど150点を超えるアート作品を制作。2026年はタンザニアを舞台にキャリア初となるドキュメンタリー映画の制作に挑戦中。「あなたとわたし、みんなで“世界”」。アフリカから学んだ生き方の哲学を一人でも多くの方に届けるため、日々制作に取り組んでいる。
